Streisand shows what not to wear

You would think that by the age of 64, most women would be self-conscious enough to ensure their choice of evening wear does not expose parts of the body which have...well dropped below standards.

But no one seems to have shared this with legendary entertainer Barbra Streisand as she stepped out in this rather unflattering black dress at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York.

Streisand seemed to forget what a photographer's flash can do to a black dress as she unwittingly revealed she had left the black bra tucked up in her drawer at home.

Lou Diamond Phillips Charged in Domestic Spat

Prosecutors charged actor Lou Diamond Phillips on Thursday with domestic battery in connection with an incident last month involving his live-in girlfriend.

Phillips, best known for his roles in 'La Bamba' and 'Stand and Deliver,' could face a maximum of one year in jail and a $2,000 fine if convicted of the misdemeanor charge. His arraignment was scheduled for Oct. 18.

According to police reports, the 44-year-old actor got into an argument with his girlfriend, and it escalated into a physical fight in the early hours of Aug. 11. His girlfriend, who was not identified in court documents, 'was pushed and dragged across the house resulting in scrapes to both knees,' City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo said in a statement.

The woman grabbed a phone, locked herself in a bathroom and dialed 9-1-1, Delgadillo said. Phillips was arrested and held for about 10 hours before being released.

Paris Hilton: what a dumbass

Paris Hilton is set to be embarrassed by a new TV show, which will air police interview tapes with the hotel heiress, in which she admits she's "not that smart."

The star was quizzed over a 2004 robbery at "Girls Gone Wild" producer Joe Francis' Los Angeles home, because Francis claims she told him information about a suspect at a later party.

But Hilton told investigators she was not a reliable witness, because she has a bad memory and isn't clever.

The confession can be heard on an audio tape to be aired on "Dateline NBC."

The sometime singer/actress says, "Like I really ... I don't remember. I'm not like that smart.

"I like forget stuff all the time."

Detectives are heard on the tape trying to coax Hilton to remember what she told Francis, according to Page Six.

Carey Hart sued by business partner

Pro motorcycle rider, husband of P!nk and tattoo parlor owner Carey Hart is being sued by his business partner John Huntington for refusing to pay him what Huntington says he is owed when Hart bought him out of their Vegas tattoo business.

According to the lawsuit, first obtained by WENN, Huntington had a 48% stake in Hart & Huntington, the company that owns and operates the famous Hart & Huntington tattoo parlor in the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The parlor is featured on the A&E show "Inked" and is one of the most popular attractions in the casino.

Huntington says in court documents he sold his interest in the business that bore his name to Hart in January 2005 and was promised 5% of the profits after the sale. Huntington says Hart did make payments to him, pursuant to their agreement, until July 2005, but alleges that Hart "misrepresented the true amount of sales," and he is therefore entitled to more money.

He also says that since August 2005 he has not received a dime. Furthermore, Huntington claims Hart has failed to hand over the business' financial records which would prove his claims.

Huntington claims the parlor's business has increased dramatically since the company was featured on "Inked" and says he is entitled to damages in excess of $10,000, plus interest.

Hart's lawyer says the lawsuit "absolutely and unequivocally frivolous." He adds they they "look forward to prevailing on the merits in court."

Matt LeBlanc divorce finalized

Former Friends star Matt LeBlanc and his wife of three years, Melissa McKnight, finalized their divorce Wednesday, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

LeBlanc and McKnight will share joint and legal custody over their 2-year-old daughter, Marina (who has suffered from a brain disorder). He will provide $15,000 a month for child support until she turns 18. LeBlanc will also cover 100 percent of Marina's medical and nanny costs and school tuition.

Both LeBlanc and McKnight waive all claims for spousal support.

The couple separated last January, when LeBlanc, 39, unexpectedly announced he was moving out of the Encino, Calif., home he shared with McKnight, 41, their daughter and McKnight's two children from a previous marriage.

"It was very sudden," McKnight's longtime friend Kelly Phillips told PEOPLE at the time. "She was absolutely blindsided by what transpired."

Citing "irreconcilable differences," LeBlanc filed for divorce in March. "The dissolution is amicable," his publicist Joe Libonati said in a statement. "They remain devoted parents and friends."

Shortly thereafter, PEOPLE reported that LeBlanc had been involved with Joey costar Andrea Anders, 31. Although the new couple are still together, the show didn't fare as well; it was cancelled in May.

Willie Nelson busted for pot and mushrooms

Country singer-songwriter Willie Nelson and several fellow musicians were charged with misdemeanor drug possession by Louisiana police after a search of their tour bus on Monday turned up marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms.

State police spokesman Willie Williams said the bus was stopped early on Monday morning about 7 miles east of Lafayette, Louisiana, for a routine commercial inspection, and a state trooper smelled marijuana inside the bus.

State Police seized about 1-1/2 pounds (0.7 kg) of marijuana and two-tenths of a pound (91 grams) of mushrooms from the bus, Williams said.

Nelson and four other passengers on the bus were cited for possession and released, while the driver had his commercial driving privileges suspended in addition to being cited for possession. Nelson faces possible jail time of up to six months and an unspecified fine, police said.

"There was no trouble whatsoever," Williams said. "They were all cooperative."

A spokesman for Nelson said she had no information about the arrest.

The Lohans fight it out

LINDSAY Lohan got into a screaming match with her mother, Dina, in an Upper East Side restaurant, told her to "go to hell" and stormed off, leaving the older woman in tears.
On Thursday night, Lindsay reluctantly joined Dina for Dina's birthday celebration at Phillipe on East 60th Street.

"Lindsay got a call from her mother telling her to come to the party," said a spy. "Lindsay didn't want to go, because her mother was drinking already, but she went anyway."

All was well until the first course arrived.

"When Lindsay got there, her mother and her four friends were into their second bottle of Cristal," said a restaurantgoer. "Right after the first course, they started fighting."

The two began cursing each other in front of other patrons in the crowded Chinese eatery, including Ryan Cabrera, Brandy and Serena Williams at nearby tables. "A mortified" Lindsay finally told her mother to "go to hell!" before she exited. After Lindsay left, Dina started "crying and shaking . . . Dina typed vigorously on her BlackBerry for 45 minutes while her friends were just sitting there, and when the birthday cake came out, she broke out crying again - even louder."

The unhappy birthday girl - who calls herself the "white Oprah" - also made "five trips to the bathroom in 90 minutes and came back to the table sniffling each time," said our witness.

The tired and emotional Dina was so distraught that she started "throwing fortune cookies at the waiters and flipping them off." Finally, after four hours of partying, the $2,000 bill was paid - with no tip for the waiters, who then "had to help her out of the restaurant as it closed down for the night."

Tom Hanks a killer?

Tom Hanks' image as one of Hollywood's genuine "nice guys" is under threat. The two-time Oscar winner actor has been revealed to have harassed and attempted to kill his ex-wife Susan Dillingham.

The revelations came about when court papers were found and published in David Gardner's upcoming biography "The Tom Hanks Enigma".

In the papers, Dillingham not only charges the "Forrest Gump" star with harassing her, but also attempting to destroy her career as an actress.

"My husband has repeatedly verbally abused and humiliated me during the past 90 days in my home. This caused me to suffer great emotional distress," The New York Post quotes Dillingham's letter to an L.A. court in asking for a restraining order against Hanks.

In one legal missive she wrote: "It's designed to harass and upset me at a time when I should be focusing all of my energies on my job."

However, Hanks shot back in his own legal filing, stating that Dillingham was delaying a divorce trial "merely to harass me and try to squeeze an unfair settlement out of me."

The couple finally divorced in 1987, and Dillingham, whose stage name was Samantha Lewes, died from bone cancer in 2002.

A year after the divorce, Hanks married his current wife Rita Wilson.

In his book, Gardner also reveals that Hanks' kid brother, Jim, played a Forrest Gump-type character in a little-known soft-core sex flick two years before Tom won an Oscar for a similar role.

Anna Nicole issues statement

While the circumstances surrounding the death of Anna Nicole Smith's son Daniel are still unclear, Anna Nicole has now issued a statement, through her Bahamian lawyer Michael R. Scott, detailing the events of the incident.

Smith says she, Howard K. Stern (her US lawyer) and Daniel spent the entire evening on Saturday together in her hospital room after Stern picked Daniel up at the airport at 10:30pm.

At 9:38 am Sunday morning, Anna Nicole awoke and noticed her son was not breathing and alerted nurses. Medical staff attempted to revive Daniel but were unsuccessful. Daniel was pronounced dead but "Anna Nicole and Howard frantically continued resuscitation efforts."

Anna Nicole refused to leave her son's side and it became necessary "to sedate her in order to check her out of the hospital."

Due to the sedation and her grief, Anna Nicole suffered "memory loss of the event" and Stern even had to tell her again that Daniel had died.

Smith's statement adds that she is "shocked and appalled" that the press have not allowed her to grieve in private. And is asking the media to wait for the coroner's report "before leaping to sensational, speculative and unfounded conclusions as to how Daniel died."

The Dog arrested

Duane Dog Chapman, star of the A&E reality series "Dog the Bounty Hunter," and two members of his bounty hunting team (including his son) were arrested by U.S. officials today for extradition to Mexico. Mexican government officials wanted the three men sent back there in relation to a three-year-old case.

In 2003, Chapman traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to retrieve Max Factor cosmetics heir Andrew Luster, who was wanted in the U.S. on rape charges. Luster is now in jail, serving a 124-year term. The Chapmans were jailed in Mexico for a brief time for the incident three years ago. Bounty hunting is considered a crime in Mexico.

Dog's wife, Beth Chapman, said 12 armed marshals "came through the door" at 6:00AM this morning. She said they took their daughter's boyfriend down at gunpoint. Dog was sleeping at the time.

TMZ spoke with Nicky Credic from the U.S. Marshals Office. She said, "The arrest warrant was signed by a U.S. magistrate in Hawaii on September 13. The warrant was based on a formal request based on a diplomatic note from the government of Mexico."
